Office Policies
At the first visit to the orthodontist,
a visual exam is performed to determine the orthodontic need
of the patient along with
the proper time for treatment to begin. General information
will be shared regarding the patient’s need for braces
and follow up appointments will be scheduled that will include
taking diagnostic records. These diagnostic records include
plaster study models, photos of the teeth, bite and smile and
X-rays. This information is used to develop a custom treatment
for each patient.
After the doctor has evaluated your records, we discuss your
treatment with you in detail, including the cost for your particular
case.
The appointment when you get your appliances (braces, expanders,
etc.) usually takes from one to one and a half hours. You'll
then see us at regular intervals 6 to 8 weeks apart for an adjustment,
which takes 15 to 30 minutes. Patients are seen by appointment
only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and
ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep
an appointment, please notify us immediately. Cancel only if
it is an emergency. It is difficult to reschedule you since most
appointments are made 6 to 8 weeks in advance.
The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient's
problem. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options
before treatment begins. We have payment plans to suit different
budgets, including a no-down-payment option. We also accept assignment
from most insurance plans, and file the necessary papers to the
insurance company. We work hard to make orthodontics affordable.
Financial considerations should not be an obstacle
to a beautiful smile. Therefore, our practice offers a wide
range of payment
options. Financing with no initial payment can often be arranged.
In addition, we can arrange a monthly installment plan. Many
orthodontic problems require only limited treatment. The
cost of treatment will vary, depending on the severity of the
problem.
Our financial coordinator can work out a plan suited to your
individual needs.
For your convenience we accept Visa and
MasterCard. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable
cost to our patients.
If you have questions regarding your account, please contact

Most orthodontic patients are seen every 6-8 weeks.
Every effort is made to schedule regular appointments at the
most convenient
time. We are committed to staying on schedule to minimize
waiting and respect your busy schedules. If you have
pain or an emergency
situation, every attempt will be made to see you that
day.
Many dental insurance plans now include
orthodontic benefits that cover a portion of required treatment.
Our office
will make every effort to help you maximize your
insurance reimbursement
for covered procedures.
